Quite a fine collection of craft beers and cheesecake. I’m still in the local bar by the Pacific Ocean (as detailed recently in a lower thread – walking distance only for Brick). I am drinking Jameson neat with a bottle of Bud back that I never usually finish. This is what makes me happy; it’s just something I like.

As you can see below there was several that I really liked, but this one stood above the rest. Fantastic IPA, delicious, not too hoppy in spite of the name, beautiful, balanced, but still bold. I will be getting more of this.

This was a nice light Weisse; I heard it was “authentic” but I’m not sure. Smooth, completely different from the others tasted yesterday.

I thought this was very good; a big stout; not sweet, but almost. Very drinkable, as in the glass was easily gone back to.

So, makeitsnow, I have to be honest: I was a little disappointed in the Higher Math. It was interesting and different, but I didn’t find it particularly tasty. A little too thick for my palate and the cherry tasted more like flavoring than flavor. But that’s why we not we all have different palates.
