I’ve just learned that Walter Becker of Steely Dan died yesterday. I realize that means nothing to most of you, but it should. Personally, Steely Dan was a big influence on me growing up, both musically and otherwise. They were also a big influence on a lot of the acts we all love. So please raise a glass to him.
