First: an annoucement.  The third annual “Atwater March” pub crawl will be taking place in my neighborhood on March 24.  We’ll be meeting at 3 p.m. at The Roost, then heading to the Morrisson, the Bigfoot Lodge, the Tam O’Shanter, and finally closing things out at The Griffin.  All your favorite DFO personalities will be there in the flesh!  Oh.  You don’t have any favorite DFO personalities. Well, at least we’ll have Sponch!  Assuming the gas station still stocks it.  Join us!

…the Commentist Party pushed up their sleeves and each contributed according to their ability and produced our biggest playlist of the season so far.  It’s virtually impossible to pick a favorite from the bounty that’s been provided this week, so I’ve decided to let youtube pick the Request of the Week.  It set its eyes on yeah right’s selection of Social Distortion’s “Bakersfield” and I can’t say I object one little bit.  Chances are you won’t have too much of an appetite for music this week – you’ve got the announcers of the NCAA tournament who will be happy to serve as the soundtrack to your days – but if you’re hungry for some tunes, please help yourself according to need.
