PRODUCER: …and so I suppose at the end of the day, it’s like that familiar saying, “how do we get to yes?” Now throughout this process, you’ve maintained radio silence.

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

PRODUCER: You haven’t commented publicly at all?

KHALIL MACK: No.

PRODUCER: Well this is a treat for us; I’m told you would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight on a few things?

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

PRODUCER: Let’s start by addressing the rumors you’ll be traded to Green Bay. Any truth to them?

KHALIL MACK: No.

PRODUCER: So you’re anticipating that you’ll be staying in Oakland?

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

PRODUCER: But you haven’t practiced a single snap with the team so far this year.

KHALIL MACK: No.

PRODUCER: Are you sure you’ll be ready to play when the season starts?

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

PRODUCER: Have you spoken to Coach Gruden yet?

KHALIL MACK: No.

DJ3000: [poking his head in] CAN I OFFER YOU SOME COFFEE, MR. MACK?

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

DJ3000: DO YOU TAKE CREAM AND SUGAR?

KHALIL MACK: No.

DJ3000: BLACK, THEN?

KHALIL MACK: Yes.

DJ3000: WANT SOME BISCOTTI TO GO WITH IT?

KHALIL MACK: No.

PRODUCER: Well let’s go ahead and get this show on the road. Do you have a theme for us today?
