I originally had a traditional Request Line planned for today.  It’s going to be a delight, I promise you.  But you’ll have to wait until next week, because I woke up this morning feeling inexplicably happy.  So I thought I dedicate this week’s Request Line to the concept of “joy”. We’re looking for songs about happiness, but it’s a broad topic so feel free to post songs that might not fit the theme exactly, but make you happy.  There’s a lot of joy to be had today, so let’s limit things to a max of ten songs per person.

I’ll get us started with Apollo 100’s reimagining of the classical composition “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”, “Joy”, as introduced to me by the film Boogie Nights. It makes my spine tingle.
