[DOOR FLIES OPEN]

I’m not going to lie – even though I was prepared, the concept of “teaching from home” had both advantages & disadvantages that I have yet to fully measure.

First off, the prime advantage,

because not having to select a wardrobe for work is always preferable that having to just put something on to leave the house.

Also, I got to spend time with these two bozos,

which, again, is usually more preferable than spending time with people. Plus, I didn’t have to leave them alone, which meant I got to avoid the necessity of having to clean before leaving for work, because Lambeau can be a bit of a table surfer, and I’m always finding Kleenex in the brownest of places.

The one downside was the constant video-conferencing with people who don’t understand the technology. For every gamer on staff who has dedicated headsets or working monitors, there are people who insist on using their home Commodore-64 for the job because “work didn’t give me the technology to do this from home”, or they don’t want to go over their home data plans. Oh, and make sure to sit real close because you forgot to turn the volume up. I think I’m going to start wearing KISS makeup.

Also, know the range of your camera! I saw more of my colleagues brushing their teeth this week than I ever want to again. Also, their spitting methods practically justify why they are single.

Tonight’s … entertainment?:

There’s not a lot on that’s either new or interesting. Many channels are running genre marathons of things like Stars Trek & Wars, or baking, or “true crime”.

  • The rematch between Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) and Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs). From MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
    • It was a pretty good tilt.
• 48 Hours – 10:00 PM | CBS
  • A wealthy Florida businessman is arrested after a violent confrontation with his wife.
    • So, different boxing.
• UFC 223 Replay – 7:00PM | TSN
  • Ferguson vs Khabib – from April 2018.
