Live from San Francisco: A Super Bowl 50 Update

*TV static crackles*

We interrupt this current broadcast to bring you this important breaking news.

Our field reporter on the West Coast, the illustrious Beerguyrob, has sent us this disturbing imagery directly from the historic Pier One, in downtown San Francisco. We received it late last night, and after several hours of debating its validity and a potential meaning behind it, we have decided, for the sake of journalistic integrity, to share this shocking footage with you now.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is a massive golden “50” at the top of the historic clock tower. While undoubtedly its presence is due to the Super Bowl coming to the Bay Area at the beginning of February, it is without a doubt a horrendous addition to a building rich in history and culture, and unquestionably defies the limits of good taste and public decency.

We ask you, good people of the United States, to stand up against such vile acts of architectural design and unbridled personal hedonism, and join with us in stating the unequivocal truth with us here at DFO TV:

Roger Goodell must be stopped, once and for all.

Thank you for your time. We now return to your regularly scheduled Sunday programming.

The Maestro
The Maestro is a mystical Canadian internet user and New England Patriots fan; when the weather is cooperative and the TV signal at his igloo is strong enough, he enjoys watching the NFL, the Ottawa Senators & REDBLACKS, and yelling into the abyss on Twitter. He is somehow allowed to teach music to high school students when he isn't in a blind rage about sports, and is also a known connoisseur of cheap beers across the Great White North.

We have DFO TV? Is it channel 69?

Perhaps it has been ludicrous of us to be relying on a meteor to fix the Super Bowls in recent history.

Here’s rooting for MegaQuake 2016!
