I have done a handful of Lease deals with doctors. Holy fucking shit, you have to have the patience of Job if’n you lawyer with them on a daily basis.

Even when they’re not asses, as a certain GOP Presidential candidate aptly demonstrates, the amount they know/understand about stuff other than medicine is virtually nil.

And that includes “knowing what they don’t know.”

I’m sitting in traffic driving my kid to a choral performance. It’s in the boonies, so I get to sit in the car for 90 minutes until the thing begins, then likely miss first half of RiveBrog.

Thank God my fucked up neck (woohoo, domino effect – beware, PeyPey) led to a new batch of Vicuprofen yesterday afternoon. And I have a book. Nic Pizzolatto’s short story collection. Teh early hopelessness.

I listened to this version, and it’s decent, but that guitar is aggravating. On the YouTube page there was a link to the poem as read by Christiopher Lee, and all I could think of was that this was he did to Gandalf the entire time he had G locked in his tower.

I’m basking in enjoyment of the fact that at this point in the season I’m not obsessing very much over my fantasy football teams because my REAL football team is actually having a respectable season and I haven’t had to give up on them yet.
