TGISF…aka “Wow I Almost Messed That One Up” Sexy Friday Open Thread

Some weeks ago, when the Stanley Cup Playoffs were only just getting going, there were multiple requests that I do a Hockey Girls themed Sexy Friday.  At the time, my response was something like “Yes of course we will, but we’ve got plenty of time yet”.

And now look.  Several weeks and several distractions later, and I almost blew it.

Of course the Pens more or less backing their way into a 2-0 series lead in the finals is what finally lit a fire under me.  Because in spite of macho guarantees to the contrary from the Nashville camp, those lucky Yinzers could very well end this before I get another shot next week.  Sooooo….

Not Much Sports

NHL

No hockey last night.  None tonight, either.

Game 3 is Saturday night in Nashville, 8pm, NBCSN (PIT 2-0)

NBA

Kevin Durant carried Golden State to an easy win last night, jumping to a 1-0 series lead and embarrassing the Cavs by 22 in game one.

Game 2 is Sunday night in Oakland, 8pm, ABC (GSW 1-0)

MLB

Apparently, Mr. Met went blue this week.  I completely missed that until this morning while perusing the sports news in my underpants.  At least something interesting happened (and no, I don’t mean me in my underpants is interesting).

The Last Ones

The last of the photos I plan to share of my recent trip west, that is.  At least for now.  Even I’m getting bored of them now.  And while neither of these is the most technically wonderful photo I’ve ever taken, I happen to like them both.

The first is the view of Pacific Park amusement park atop the Santa Monica Pier as seen from the back side (ocean side).  Something about the colours set against the darkening dusk skies which appeals to me….

This one is obviously a candid street scene, taken on my last day at Venice Beach.  Not sure why, but there’s something about it I like….

This song is not the easiest listen, not the least of reasons being because of the length.  Nor is that the only reason.  But it’s worth it.  Trust me.
